NC GreenPower
NC GreenPower, one of our key partners, is an independent, nonprofit agency that provides and administers the reimbursement per kilowatt hour for the power generated by a Yes Solar Solutions solar power system. NC GreenPower relies on contributions made by the consumer, in the form of 100 kilowatt hour blocks of carbon offsets purchased for $4 each, and by corporate sponsors, which Yes Solar Solutions is proud to be.

Leading by example, the NC State Energy Office is the major funder for the NC Solar Center and sponsors the Energy Improvement Loan Program (EILP), a low-interest loan for the purpose of installing renewable energy systems for commercial building owners.

This educational and research demonstration center, operated by NCSU at the McKimmon Center, provides technical support and outreach in solar, wind, alternative fuels, biomass, and green-building technologies. Open to the public, it showcases renewable energy and offers design review and site assessment, as well as professional development and training workshops, and a directory of solar and green technology professionals, including Yes Solar Solutions, which is a sponsor of the Solar Center.

Database of State Incentives for Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency – DSIREUSA
This website is one of the most comprehensive and user-friendly compilations of state, local, utility, and federal incentives and policies that promote renewable energy and energy efficiency, and DSIREUSA is another project from the NC Solar Center.

North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners certified solar installers and accredits solar installation companies. It is the only professional certification and accreditation for solar and its website includes a directory for locating solar professionals.
