The signed bill, in addition to providing certainty for solar developers and investors, also provides a much needed signal of understanding from the General Assembly and Duke Energy that a clean, distributed energy future is important to grid performance, resiliency, and security, as well as, job creation, economic growth and improved citizen satisfaction throughout North Carolina.
