At Yes Solar Solutions, our goal is to deliver the most value possible to each of our customers, employees, and partners with sustainable solutions that enhance all of our lives. To us, sustainability doesn’t just mean promoting clean energy, but it also means reinforcing policies that attract and retain the best energy professionals. It means reducing and offsetting the energy we use in our own business and serving the needs of our local communities as well.

Our mission is to enhance our customers’ sustainability while providing the strongest customer experience and the most customer care available anywhere. After your installation, we are here for you whenever you need us.

Post Sales 3-4 Weeks: Contract Processed, Site Audit

Our team will promptly process your contract, and within one week a Site Specialist will visit to confirm roof measurements, conduct a shade analysis and verify your existing electrical system setup. Once completed, our in-house design team will generate customized plans for your solar project, which are reviewed and approved by Director of Operations. At this point, your project is ready to be sent to the local utility company for interconnection approval.

Utility Connection 1-4 Weeks: Interconnection Approval

For grid-tied solar projects, gaining utility approval to interconnect your solar system is an important step in the pre-construction process. Our years of experience and relationships with local utilities ensure that your project will be reviewed and approved for interconnection as quickly as possible. Although this process can take up to three weeks, most residential projects are approved within a week.

Engineering & Permitting 1-4 Weeks: Plan Design & Permitting

Every solar project is unique. Following our initial system design, all plans are reviewed by a licensed engineer to verify they meet local building and electrical code. Our thorough planning process not only prioritizes safe installations, but also expedites the permit application review period. We take care of the permits for your solar project to make going solar hassle free! Permits can take several weeks to process, but once they are ready, it’s solar time!

Installation & Scheduling 1-4 Weeks: Schedule & Install

After we have utility approval and permits in hand, we’re ready to go! Ultimately, the timing of your project depends on our job volume which can be very seasonal, but our goal is always to install your system as soon as possible. We will keep you updated with estimated scheduling after you sign a contract, and your project manager will provide roughly ten days’ notice prior to our arrival onsite. Depending on the complexity of the design, our crew will be onsite for two to five days. We are eager to get onsite to let our NABCEP and OSHA-certified installers shine! Our team is what sets us apart, and we’re proud of how well they represent Yes Solar Solutions on every project.

Inspections & System Commissioning 1-4 Weeks: Final Inspections, Meter Installation, System Energized, & Monitoring Activated

Once our crew completes the work onsite, we will schedule final inspections with the authority having jurisdiction (AHJ) and with your utility company. We submit documentation of passing electrical inspection and a certificate of completion to your utility which initiates a new meter request. Once the new meter request has been initiated, a utility technician will visit the site and install your new, bi-directional meter. Congratulations! Your system is complete and you may now “flip the switch” to turn your system on and begin producing clean, renewable power!
