Solarize Chatham, sponsored by Durham non-profit NC WARN, enrollment period ends July 30, 2014. NC WARN and Yes Solar Solutions also partnered on Solarize Durham with 372 signed up and Tier 3 pricing results. Almost 300 people have signed up with Solarize Chatham for free site assessments to see if they are good candidates for solar for their homes. Besides the 30% federal tax credit for solar, and a 35% North Carolina tax credit, those in the Duke Progress utility market are eligible for another rebate which can effectively lower the cost of a solar system by over 65%.
